Dice the chicken to 2-inch cubes.
Create the marinade in a large bowl. Add in 2 tablespoons of oil, plain Greek yogurt, ground cumin, ginger garlic paste, Kashmiri Chili powder, chaat masala, ground coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, salt, and star anise powder. Mix well. Further, add in the chicken and mix well.
Place a stainless-steel bowl with coal in the center of the marinated chicken bowl. Light the coal and slowly add oil until it catches fire. Once the fire is minimized it will start releasing smoke. Cover the whole marinated chicken bowl with a lid. Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes to an hour with the bowl in and the lid on.
When you are ready to cook, grease your Air Fryer basket with oil. Then, follow your air fryer directions for preheating to 350°F for 5 minutes. When it’s preheated, working in batches, place the chicken in a single layer or in a skewer.
Air fry for 18 minutes, at 360°F. When 8 minutes are remaining, flip the chicken gently with tongs and drizzle some oil. Also, every air fryer is different so check after the 15-minute mark. You can increase or decrease the time as per your liking.

- Rub the chicken well with marinade, however don't overcoat it with the marinade just before air frying. Discard the excess marinade or else you will taste a lot of spices.
