Coffee Makhana Milkshake - Coffee Foxnut Smoothie
Is it possible to drink makhana as a smoothie? How is that even possible? Enter Coffee Makhana Milkshake - Coffee Foxnut Smoothie.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 3/4 banana (cut into pieces)
- 1/4 cup foxnuts (makhana, roasted)
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
- 2 tbsp sugar (or sweetner of choice)
- 2 tsp instant coffee ( I used Nescafe)
In a pan on low heat dry roast the foxnuts until crisp. Make sure not to brown them too much. It should take about 10- 12 minutes. Monitor them to make sure they don’t burn and stir them in between. Let them cool and grind them in a grinder.
Second, place all of the ingredients (Instant coffee, almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, banana, sugar, foxnuts, and ice cubes.) in a high-powered blender and blend them.
After blending the smoothie, transfer the smoothie in a large glass and enjoy.
