Select sauté on the instant pot and adjust to normal. Further add in ghee to the pot.
When the ghee is hot, add in singhare atta, and stir well.
Continue stirring until the color changes and it get fragrant. This should take about 4 to 5 minutes.
Meanwhile bring 1 and 1/2 cup water and ½ cup milk to a boil in a small bowl for 3 minutes in a microwave. Additionally, you can even do this on a stove top.
When the color of the flour changes in the pot, add in the warm milk + water. Then, add in slivered almonds, ground cardamom (optional). Stir well.
Next add in sugar and keep stirring until the sugar dissolves and the water dries out completely. Select cancel.
Finally, transfer in a serving bowl and garnish with additional nuts. Serve warm.
