Servings: 2
Course: Appertizer, Side Dish
Cuisine: American, Asian, Indian

Ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms, white button  (or mushrooms of choice)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (chilli flakes)
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Method

  1. Quickly rinse the mushrooms and dry them with a paper towel. I like to remove the bottom of the stem which is frequently dirty and sometimes a bit woody. Second, chop the mushrooms into 4 pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl mix together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, Soy sauce, garlic powder, red crushed pepper, and black pepper. Toss in the mushrooms and mix well.
  3. Air Fry - Air fry at 365°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking and stirring about halfway through. If you like it crispier up the temperature to 400 and air fry for another 2 minutes.

Notes

If doubling the recipe and cooking in multiple batches, the first batch will take longer to cook if Air Fryer is not already pre-heated. Recipe timing is written based on not preheating the Air Fryer.
