Method
- Rinse the mushrooms well and chop a little bit of the stem.
- Add the chickpea is a mixing bowl. Then add ginger garlic paste.
- Add carom seeds, red chili powder, garam masala, ground turmeric, 1 tbsp oil, lemon juice, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the mushrooms in the marinade and let them marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
- When you are ready to cook, grease the air fryer basket with the remaining oil. Then, follow your air fryer directions for preheating to 350°F for 5 minutes. When it’s preheated, working in batches, place the mushrooms in a single layer.
- Air Fry the mushrooms at 370°F for 12 minutes. Toss the mushrooms midway at the 6 minute mark.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
This mushroom recipe is spicy. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would place it at 3 in terms of spice levels. You can reduce the amount of cayenne pepper depending on your heat tolerance.
