After making grilled mushrooms countless times over the years, I’ve gotten rather good at it. I’ve been told several times; I make the best grilled mushrooms.

What ingredients do I need to make Air Fryer Tandoori Mushrooms – Spicy Mushroom Tikka?
White button mushrooms, Chickpea flour (besan), ginger garlic paste, carom seeds (ajwain), red chili powder, garam masala, ground turmeric, oil, lemon juice, salt, and chaat powder.
How do I make Air Fryer Tandoori Mushrooms – Spicy Mushroom Tikka?
Firstly, rinse the mushrooms well. I used white button mushrooms. Secondly, trim the stem slightly.
Next add the chickpea flour in a mixing bowl.
Add in, ginger garlic paste. I used the bottled kind. If you want to use fresh ginger and garlic you can mince it in equal quantities.
Also, add carom seeds and red chili powder.
Additionally add garam masala and ground turmeric.
Then add 1 tbsp oil, lemon juice, chaat masala, and salt.
Mix well.
Add the mushrooms in the marinade and let them marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
When you are ready to cook, grease the air fryer basket with the remaining oil. I grease mine by rubbing, brushing, or spraying, a little bit of oil on the bottom grate. Then, follow your air fryer directions for preheating to 350°F for 5 minutes. When it’s preheated, working in batches, place the mushrooms in a single layer.
Air Fry the mushrooms at 370°F for 12 minutes. Finally, toss the mushrooms midway at the 6 minute mark.
