Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups papaya (chopped)
  • 1 banana, large (3/4 to 1 cup chopped)
  • 1 and 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp honey (or sweetner of choice, sugar, maple syrup)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • pinch of ground turmeric

Method
 

  1. Rinse the papaya. Using a sharp knife trim the ends off the fruit. Cut the fruit in half. Further, using a spoon scrape away the seeds from each half. Furthermore, remove the skin using a vegetable peeler. Finally chop it to bite size pieces.
  2. Chop the banana.
  3. Place the ingredients in a blender and begin blending on low speed and increase to higher speed as the smoothie starts to blend together.
