This smoothie is my latest breakfast obsession. If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you know that my recipes are quick. Several smoothies are vegan friendly using your favorite plant based dairy free milk. And so is this one.
With easy ingredients and a blender, you can make this at home in just under 5 minutes. Just toss some papaya, banana and a few more basic ingredients into your blender and have a delicious and refreshing smoothie that will keep you cool and satiated.

Ingredients for Banana Papaya Smoothie – Papaya Milk Shake –
Fresh Papaya, banana, almond milk, ice cubes, ground turmeric, sweetener of choice, and lemon juice.
Steps to make this recipe –
First rinse the papaya. Second, using a sharp knife trim the ends off the fruit. Third cut the fruit in half. Further, using a spoon scrape away the seeds from each half. Furthermore, remove the skin using a vegetable peeler. Finally chop it to bite size pieces.
Next, chop the banana.
Further, place the ingredients in a blender and begin blending on low speed and increase to higher speed as the smoothie starts to blend together. Also, don’t overfill the blender. Additionally, this recipe will yield 2 glasses.

Banana Papaya Smoothie – Papaya Milk Shake
Ingredients
- 2 cups papaya (chopped)
- 1 banana, large (3/4 to 1 cup chopped)
- 1 and 1/2 cup almond milk
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
- 1 tbsp honey (or sweetner of choice, sugar, maple syrup)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- pinch of ground turmeric
Instructions
