Prep
- Rinse and peel the potatoes. Chop them to 2 inch cubes.
Cook
- On medium heat, in a deep wok or skillet add oil. When the oil is hot add cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal.
- In 30 seconds add the potatoes and stir well. Further, add in turmeric powder, and salt and stir.
- Add a lid and cook covered for 15 minutes on medium heat, until potatoes are cooked and crispy. Keep stirring in between every few minutes to prevent them from burning.
- Once done open the lid and add coriander powder, Kashmiri chili powder, cumin powder, and garlic powder. Stir well and turn off heat in a minute. Enjoy
