Crispy, crunchy outside with a light and fluffy inside – Spicy Garlic Skillet Potatoes – Garlic Potatoes are a decadent side dish. These seasoned potatoes are full of flavor, have a crispy texture, and super easy to make!

Ingredients needed to make Spicy Garlic Skillet Potatoes – Garlic Potatoes
3 tbsp oil of choice
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
Also, 1/2 tsp chana dal
3 cups Potatoes chopped to 2 inch cubes (about 3 small/ medium potatoes)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 and 1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 and 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp salt
1 and 1/2 tsp garlic powder
METHOD TO MAKE THIS RECIPE
First, in a deep wok or skillet add oil. Second, when the oil is hot add cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Third, in 30 seconds add the potatoes and stir well. Further, add in turmeric powder, and salt and stir.
Furthermore, add a cover and cook for 15 minutes until potatoes are cooked and crispy. Further, keep stirring in between every few minutes to prevent them from burning. Moreover, once done open the lid and add coriander powder, Kashmiri chili powder, cumin powder, and garlic powder. Finally, stir well and turn off heat in a minute. Enjoy

- 1 and 1/2 tsp ground coriander (dhaniya powder)
- 1 and 1/2 tsp kashmiri chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin (jeera powder)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 and 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Prep
- Rinse and peel the potatoes. Chop them to 2 inch cubes.
Cook
- On medium heat, in a deep wok or skillet add oil. When the oil is hot add cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal.
- In 30 seconds add the potatoes and stir well. Further, add in turmeric powder, and salt and stir.
- Add a lid and cook covered for 15 minutes on medium heat, until potatoes are cooked and crispy. Keep stirring in between every few minutes to prevent them from burning.
- Once done open the lid and add coriander powder, Kashmiri chili powder, cumin powder, and garlic powder. Stir well and turn off heat in a minute. Enjoy
