Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp oil of choice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms (227 grams) (3 to 3 and 1/4 cups sliced) (white button mushrooms)
  • 1 bunch green onions (3/4 cups chopped)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or as needed)
  • Fresh cracked crushed pepper to taste (black pepper)

Method
 

Prep
  1. Rinse and pat dry the mushrooms. Place your mushrooms with the stem side down on the cutting board and slice across the mushroom to about and inch thickness. Further, rinse and slice the green onions to about an inch thick pieces. Also mince the garlic.
Cook
  1. On medium high heat add in oil in a large skillet. When the oil is hot, add in minced garlic, mushrooms and green onions and stir occasionally until the mushrooms are lightly browned and tender, 5 to 6 minutes.
  2. Stir in the soy sauce, and crushed red pepper flakes. Furthermore stir well and cook until heated through. Finally season with salt and pepper if desired. Turn off heat and enjoy.
