  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil of choice
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3/4 tbsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1.5 pounds chicken breast ( 2 chicken breasts)

Method

  1. Chop the chicken to bite sized pieces.
  2. Mix together 1/2 tbsp fish sauce, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp sesame oil (or oil of choice), 1 tbsp brown sugar, 3/4 tbsp garlic powder, 3/4 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 tbsp cilantro. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes and if time permits or overnight. covered in the refrigerator.
Air Fry
  1. When you're ready to cook, grease your air fryer basket with some oil or cooking spray. Preheat your air fryer. Then, working in batches, place the chicken in a single layer or on skewers. Make sure to grease the tray/basket well.
  2. Air fry the chicken for 18 minutes at 360°F. After 8 minutes, flip the chicken gently with tongs. Check after the 18-minute mark, and adjust the time as per your liking. I usually up the temperature to 380°F for an additional 2 minutes after the 18-minute mark to give it a nice char. Make sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165ºF before serving.
Grill
  1. Cook for 5 minutes on each side until it's cooked through.
