Ingredients
Method
- Chop the chicken to bite sized pieces.
- Mix together 1/2 tbsp fish sauce, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp sesame oil (or oil of choice), 1 tbsp brown sugar, 3/4 tbsp garlic powder, 3/4 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 tbsp cilantro. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes and if time permits or overnight. covered in the refrigerator.
Air Fry
- When you're ready to cook, grease your air fryer basket with some oil or cooking spray. Preheat your air fryer. Then, working in batches, place the chicken in a single layer or on skewers. Make sure to grease the tray/basket well.
- Air fry the chicken for 18 minutes at 360°F. After 8 minutes, flip the chicken gently with tongs. Check after the 18-minute mark, and adjust the time as per your liking. I usually up the temperature to 380°F for an additional 2 minutes after the 18-minute mark to give it a nice char. Make sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165ºF before serving.
Grill
- Cook for 5 minutes on each side until it's cooked through.
