Plain yogurt, cucumber, salt, black salt, green chili, Kashmiri chili powder, roasted cumin powder, cilantro, and golden raisins.
How do I make this recipe?
First, when you are ready to assemble the raita, chop the cilantro leaves, and green chili (serrano peppers) finely.
Second peel the cucumbers and cut them in half, horizontally. Third, use the large holes on a box grater to grate the flesh of the cucumber. Further Drain the excessive moisture from the shredded cucumber. For draining, place your cucumber in a fine strainer and press firmly to strain the moisture.
Next grab a medium sized bowl and a whisk, spoon or fork. Make sure to use thick yogurt and not very runny yogurt. Additionally, put the plain yogurt in the bowl, add in salt, black salt, green chilies, Kashmiri chili powder, roasted cumin, cilantro and whisk it well until combined and smooth.
