Easy Chicken Tikka Roll – Chicken Kathi Roll is made with juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken. Further, this is the perfect protein-packed meal that will keep you full and satisfied! Moreover, everything is ready in just under an hour! And, these have to be my favorite chicken wraps/rolls.
I’ve used parathas to wrap the cooked chicken, but you can use whatever you like, for instance naan, tortillas, roti’s, ready made parathas. Additionally, you can make them healthier, by using lettuce as wraps as well because why not?
Moreover chicken is a great source of protein.

Ingredients needed to make Easy Chicken Tikka Roll – Chicken Kathi Roll
Chicken –
- 1.5 pounds boneless chicken ( cut into 1 inch sized cubes)
- 1 tsp of each Spice (Kashmiri chili powder, cumin powder)
- 1.5 tsp coriander powder
- 1.5 tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 cup oil of choice
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- And finally, 1 tbsp Kasoori methi
Chutney –
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 serrano peppers, small (3/4 tsp chopped) (you can reduce or increase depending on your heat tolerance)
- 3/4 cup Greek Yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- And finally, 3/4 tsp salt
Method –
First, rinse and chop the chicken to 1 inch cubes. Second create the marinade by whisking in Greek yogurt, Kashmiri chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, ground turmeric, salt, ginger garlic paste, oil of choice, lemon juice, tomato ketchup and Kasoori methi.
Further add in the chicken to the marinade and let it marinate covered for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Furthermore, when you are ready to cook, take a deep bottom wok and add in the marinated chicken with the marinated and let it cook on medium high heat for 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked. Further, turn off heat.
Then to make the chutney, take a blender and add in 1 cup rinsed and chopped cilantro, 2 serrano peppers, small (3/4 tsp chopped) (you can reduce or increase depending on your heat tolerance), 3/4 cup Greek Yogurt, 2 garlic cloves, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 3/4 tsp salt. Blend to form a smooth chutney.
Finally create the wrap using a paratha/tortilla/roti/naan/or lettuce wrap. Further, to assemble, add in the chicken pieces, top off with chutney and roll to create a wrap. Enjoy.

- 1 and 1/2 tsp ground coriander (dhaniya powder)
- 1 and 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric (haldi)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 cup oil of choice
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)
Chutney
- 1 cup cilantro (rinsed and chopped)
- 2 green chillies (small) (you can reduce or increase depending on your heat tolerance)
- 3/4 cup Greek Yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp salt
Instructions
