Eating breakfast that looks like a creamy, delicious dessert is an awesome way to start off the day.

This recipe without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite things to make. Made with Greek yogurt yogurt,  crunchy granola and fresh strawberries, they’re perfect for a delicious breakfast on the go.

Ingredients for Yogurt Strawberry Parfait – 4 Ingredient Parfait –

To get started you’ll need to gather your ingredients.

Greek Yogurt – Plain Greek Yogurt. Greek yogurt has several health benefits, such as improving bone health, improves gut health, boosts metabolism and several others. Here is a link from medical news total that talks about the benefits of Greek yogurt. Additionally, you can use regular yogurt, dairy-free yogurt, whatever you like will work fine.

Granola – Use any store brought granola. I used Love Crunch Granola

Sweetener – I used maple sugar. You can use honey or sweetener of choice.

Strawberries – Fresh strawberries.

How do I make this parfait –

Firstly, chop the strawberries finely. Further, in a bowl add in yogurt and mix it well with maple syrup or sweetener of choice. Furthermore, in a jar add half of the chopped strawberries at the bottom. Next, add the Greek Yogurt mixed with maple syrup over the strawberries. Finally, add the remaining strawberries over the Yogurt and top off with granola.

Will the Granola get soggy if made overnight?

Absolutely. If you place the granola onto the parfait any time other than right before you are about to eat, it will get soggy. However, my kids love it soggy. But, if you want to avoid soggy granola, place a  piece of plastic wrap or aluminum foil on top of the assembled parfait and then add the granola. Further, when you are ready to eat, just remove the plastic/aluminum foil and mix in the granola. Alternatively, you could just wait to add the granola until you are ready to eat. Or if you don’t mind it soggy, you can add it overnight or a few hours before you are about to eat it.

Can these be made ahead or overnight?

Yes of course. I almost always use yogurt parfaits as an easy breakfast option. I make them overnight and serve them over the next day. Moreover, they keep well when refrigerated for 2-3 days.
