Scallion Creamy Mushrooms – Creamy Garlic Mushrooms are delish made quickly in a rich garlic parmesan cream sauce! These mushrooms are easy to make, and takes just a few ingredients. Tender, creamy and so decadently flavorful these are truly one of the easiest side dishes or appetizers you can make! After all, Who doesn’t love an easy side dish?

Ingredients needed to make Scallion Creamy Mushrooms – Creamy Garlic Mushrooms –
Green onions, white button mushroom’s, Parmesan cheese, heavy whipping cream, cream cheese, crushed red pepper, unsalted butter, garlic cloves, and oil.
How do I make this recipe –
First, quickly rinse the mushrooms and dry them with a paper towel. I like to remove the bottom of the stem which is frequently dirty and sometimes a bit woody. Second, chop the mushrooms into 2 to 4 pieces depending on the size.
Second, rinse the green onions. After you rinse them shake them out to get rid of the excessive water or use a paper towel to dry them out. Further, grab the entire bunch and start to cut the onions finely in circles.
Cook –
First, when you are ready to cook, in a heavy bottom skillet add in oil and unsalted butter. Second, add in the garlic and stir. Third add in the mushrooms and let them sauté for 4 to 5 minutes. Further add in the chopped scallions and let them sauté for a minute, stir well. Finally, add in the heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Further, stir well and let it come to a boil. Furthermore, top off with parmesan cheese and crushed pepper. Finally, stir until the cheese melts.

- 8 oz white mushrooms (2 and 3/4 cup chopped)
- 1 bunch scallions (green onions/spring onions) (1 cup chopped)
- 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
- 1 tsp oil of choice
- 5 garlic cloves (1 tsp minced)
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded parmasean cheese
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional) (chilli flakes)

- Add in the heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Further, stir well and let it come to a boil. Furthermore, top off with parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper. Finally, stir until the cheese melts. You can choose to reduce the cream by saueting or leave some liquid in.
