I love a nice sandwich for a quick meal and this is one of my favorite. There are so many variations out there, especially with chutney, which I’m sure taste amazing. However, there’s just something special about this version that is without too much effort, pure nostalgia.

Ingredients needed to make Vegetable Cheese Toastie – Vegetable Cheese Sandwich?
Tomato, garlic clove, green chillies, cilantro, salt, butter, onion and cheese.
Method to make this recipe?
First rinse and chop the onion, tomato, cilantro, and green chilli very finely. Second, mince the garlic. Third, in a mixing bowl, add in all the ingredients, chopped tomato, minced clove, chopped onion, chopped green chilies, chopped cilantro, and salt. Mix well. Set aside.
Further, preheat the toasty maker. Meanwhile, add the cheese slice on one side of the bread, and add the vegetable mix on the top. Furthermore, lightly brush butter on the toasty maker and add the slices with cheese and veggie on the toasty maker. Furthermore, place the plain bread on the top and lightly brush with butter. Finally, close and lock and cook sandwich for 5 minutes or until deep golden brown around the edges.
This recipe will make 4 sandwiches.

Equipment
- 1 sandwich maker
Ingredients
- 1 tomato, small
- 1/2 onion, small
- 3 small green chillies (reduce or add more as per spice tolerance)
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
- 1/2 tsp salt
- a little butter to grease (I used amul)
- 8 bread slices
- 4 cheese slices ( I used britannia)
Instructions
