- 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves, minced (3/4 tbsp)
- 8 oz baby bella mushrooms (white mushrooms)
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper (reduce if you cant tolerate heat)
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 3/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
- fresh parsley (to garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Rinse and clean the mushrooms and pat dry. Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces.
- In a skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned, which should take about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese, crushed pepper, onion powder, dried oregano, and dried thyme to the skillet.
