What do I need to make Fruit Chaat Raita – Yogurt Fruit Salad?

You’ll need a cutting board, a sharp knife, a measuring cup, measuring spoons, a bowl and a mixing spoon. Other than that, you will need plain yogurt, strawberries, orange, apple, grapes, banana, pomegranate kernels (I used frozen) black salt, chaat masala, ground cumin, black pepper, red chili powder, sugar, salt, fresh mint leaves, and fresh cilantro leaves, and heavy whipping cream.

How do I make this recipe?

First rinse and chop the fruits finely. Second rinse and chop the cilantro and mint finely. Third grab a medium sized bowl and a whisk, spoon or fork. Additionally, put the plain yogurt in the bowl, and whisk it well until smooth. Further, add in black salt, chaat masala, ground cumin, black pepper, red chili powder, sugar, and regular salt. Furthermore, mix well.


Next add in the chopped fruits, mint, and cilantro. Finally. add in the heavy whipping cream and top with some pomegranate kernels and some mint.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 and 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala  
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder      (cayenne pepper)
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp ground cumin     (jeera powder)
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup grapes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup banana, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pomogranate kernels ( I used frozen)
  • 1/4 cup apple, chopped
  • 1/4 cup orange (chopped finely)
  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tbsp mint leaves (chopped finely)
  • 1/2 tbsp cilantro leaves (chopped finely)
