Sometimes the most perfect and rewarding flavors come from uncomplicated recipes. This Goat Cheese Stuffed Dates recipe is easy to make and an enjoyable sweet treat you can make for appetizers or snacks. These dates are great for easy snacking and are delicious.

Ingredients needed for Goat Cheese Stuffed Dates
Seedless pitted dates, Mascarpone cheese, goat cheese, honey, and pecans.
What is mascarpone cheese?
Mascaporpone cheese is also known as Italian cheese. While some people make it at home, I typically buy mine from the grocery store. It’s made from only two ingredients: heavy cream and citric or tartaric acid. I used BelGioioso Mascarpone cheese.
How do I make this recipe?
First, using a paring knife or other small knife, slice the dates open in lengthwise slits on one side. Do not cut all the way through. Second, remove the seeds if you are using dates with seeds. I used pitted dates. Further set aside.
Third, chop pecans and add to a small bowl.
Next, in a mixing bowl mix 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese and 1/2 cup goat cheese. Stir the cheeses well so that they are soft and spreadable.
Further, use a spoon to fill the dates with the cheeses. Furthermore, top the dates filled with cheese with chopped pecan. Drizzle with honey.
Finally, place dates on a parchment-lined baking sheet and broil for 1 to 2 minutes. Keep watching because the pecans can burn quickly.
