I’m a huge smoothie fan. Also, I’ll get onto a smoothie kick regularly where I attempt different variations. And this is one such attempt. This Foxnut Blueberry Smoothie – Makhana Coconut Milkshake is truly delicious.
Today I am putting foxnuts and coconut in a smoothie and not feeling remotely weird about it. Why, you may ask? Because it turned out delicious. This smoothie is creamy, tropical, and a filling breakfast that tastes more like a dessert.

Here’s what you need to make the Foxnut Blueberry Smoothie – Makhana Coconut Milkshake happen:
Frozen blueberries – I usually buy a big bag from Costco.
Dried desiccated unsweetened coconut – Dry roast the dried desiccated coconut in a pan on low-medium heat. Make sure to watch it and not brown it too much. Stir frequently, until the flakes are mostly golden brown.
Greek yogurt, plain
Sugar or sweetener of choice
Almond milk or milk of choice. I used Silk almond milk for this particular recipe, but it can easily be subbed with your favorite kind.
Also, a few ice cubes and fox nuts. Here are the benefits of Fox Nuts
METHOD –
First in a pan on low heat dry roast the foxnuts until crisp. Also, make sure not to brown them too much. It should take about 10- 12 minutes. However, monitor them to make sure they don’t burn and stir them in between. Moreover, let them cool and grind them in a grinder.
Second, place all of the ingredients (Instant coffee, almond milk, plain Greek yogurt banana, sugar, foxnuts, and ice cubes) in a high-powered blender. Third blend them.
Further, after blending the smoothie, transfer the smoothie in glasses and enjoy.
