This Spirulina Greek Yogurt Bowl – Greek Yogurt Fruit Bowl is a wonderful, scrumptious breakfast and is a great way to kickstart your morning. Yogurt bowls are delicious, and enjoyable.
This Greek yogurt bowl is one of my favorite snacks. Moreover, its quick and easy to make, requires no cooking or skill, and its yummy/nutritious!
Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C. The antioxidants and phytochemicals found in strawberries may also help to reduce inflammation of the joints. Greek yogurt is a great source of protein.
Ingredients needed for this Spirulina Greek Yogurt Bowl – Greek Yogurt Fruit Bowl –
First of course is a bowl. Use any bowl to compile your delicious breakfast. Second you will need Greek yogurt, honey, Spirulina, strawberries, water, and pumpkin seeds.
I used honey as a sweetener. However, you can use any sweetener of choice such as maple syrup, sugar or whatever you prefer.

What is Spirulina?
Spirulina is a blue-green algae. As per a WebMD article, Spirulina is a potent source of nutrients. It contains a powerful plant-based protein called phycocyanin. Also, research shows this may have antioxidant, pain-relief, anti-inflammatory, and brain-protective properties. Additionally, here is link that highlights the benefits of Spirulina.
How do I make this recipe?
First in a mixing bowl add in plain Greek yogurt. Second add in honey, water, Spirulina, and mix well. Further rinse and chop the strawberries finally. Furthermore, add in chopped strawberries and mix. Finally top off with pumpkin seeds.
This can last in the fridge for a day or two.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp Blue spirulina (I used Lone Star botanicals)
- 1 cup strawberries (chopped finely)
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds (or toppings of choice)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add in plain Greek yogurt.
- Add in honey, water, Spirulina, and mix well.
- Rinse and chop the strawberries.
- Add in chopped strawberries to the yogurt and mix. Finally top off with pumpkin seeds. Enjoy cold.
