If you think you don’t have time for a healthy breakfast, this Strawberry Ginger Smoothie Bowl – Healthy Breakfast smoothie bowl will address that challenge. Made in a few minutes, it’s an excellent way to power your morning.

This recipe is So EASY – make it to your liking with  frozen bananas, strawberries, milk of choice, and ginger root.

What ingredients do I need for this Strawberry Ginger Smoothie Bowl – Healthy Breakfast recipe?

Banana: I love to incorporate a ripe banana in a smoothie. Bananas add the sweetness to the smoothie bowl. Chop and freeze the banana for an hour.

Strawberries – Strawberries are high in antioxidants. I’ve used frozen strawberries. Because frozen strawberry is generally picked at peak ripeness. And is frozen quickly after harvesting, it is believed to have high nutrient levels. You can use fresh strawberries too. However rinse, chop and freeze them for an hour.

Ginger – I used 1/2 an inch of fresh ginger.

Milk of choice –  My smoothie bowl go to is almond milk. This is a plant-based smoothie (no dairy), but feel free to use any milk you like.

This smoothie contains a frozen fruit, so having a powerful blender is best.

How do I make this Strawberry Ginger Smoothie Bowl – Healthy Breakfast?

First, prep all of the smoothie ingredients: peel and cut the banana into slices. Second,  freeze it for an hour. Additionally, If you are using fresh strawberries, rinse, chop and freeze them for an hour. I used frozen strawberries.

Further, place all of the ingredients (banana, strawberries, fresh ginger, milk) in a high-powered blender. Finally, blend the frozen banana, strawberries, fresh ginger, and milk of choice until smooth. Furthermore, If you’d like a thinner smoothie bowl, add in a bit more milk of choice.

After blending the smoothie, transfer the smoothie in 2 small bowls and top them with toppings of your choice like Chia seeds,  fresh strawberries, crunchy walnuts, unsweetened coconut flakes or whatever you like.

  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1 cup strawberries (frozen)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (I used almond milk)
  • 1/2 inch ginger piece (fresh)
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds (for topping)
  • some fresh berries (for topping)
  • some nuts of choice (for topping)
