Ingredients needed for Basil Soy Paneer Bhurji – Easy Asian Paneer Bhurji –
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce,
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 paneer pack crumbled (I used Haldiram brand)
- 1 small onion (1/2 cup chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (1/2 tbsp)
- 1/2 tbsp serrano pepper (2 small)
- 1/4 cup very thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
Method –
First, crumble the paneer and set aside. Second, rinse and chop the onions finely and set aside. Third rinse and chop the green chillies and set aside. Finally, mince the garlic.
Cook –
First, on medium heat in a wok add in oil. Second add in onions and sauté for a few minutes until golden. Then add in green chillies and minced garlic. Stir well and sauté for a minute. Further add in the paneer and stir well. Let it cook for a minute to 2. Furthermore, add in soy sauce, Sriracha sauce, and sugar. Cook and stir until sauce has deglazed the bottom of the pan. Finally, add the Thai basil and toss everything until all incorporated. Turn off the heat and serve warm.

- 1/2 tbsp green chillis ( 2 small)
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced basil leaves
